Halfway done…

Hope you had a fabulous 4th of July weekend! We spent it with family…and then of course, our massive remodeling project. This weekend we built back stairs, leading from our garage to our main floor. Just a few more little projects, then we move to the lower level demo.

Which means…we’re halfway done with our 2019 remodeling project!

(here are a few pix!)

Halfway.

Oh, that feels good, doesn’t it? We have accomplishment behind us to fuel us, and opportunity and potential ahead of us!

We are at the half-way point of our brilliant writing year!

It’s time to sit back and ask…what have I accomplished? Even if those accomplishments weren’t what you wrote down in January, you have accomplished something in the last six months.

We often look at what we didn’t do on our massive lists. I challenge you make a NEW list of all the things you DID do.

See, you’re more awesome than you thought you were. 😊

Now…let’s look ahead. You have six epic months filled with opportunity ahead of you.

What will you do with it?

Think of all the things you did in the first half of the year as the foundation to have an epic finish.

(I’m saying that as I’m standing in my new kitchen, at my new kitchen island…all that hard work so I could stand here and type this note to you!)

I gave a mid-year Peptalk last year on some of my tricks and tips for restarting the second half of the year. How to do a mid-year review, utilize the 12 week sprint, and refocus….and just in chase you need a little encouragement, I’m pulling it out of the private Novel Academy vault and sharing it with you this week (Free!) I’d encourage you to download it, along with the resources and listen to it over the week to refuel your next six months. (click on the image below to access and download the class!)

You know what helps me? Every morning, I get up and say…This is the day God has made…I’m going to rejoice and be glad in it. Now…Lord, what awesome thing are we going to do today? I makes me remember that every day matters. Every page in my story matters. Every sentence on that page matters.

Your story matters.

Go, have an brilliant writing week!

XO!
