Hello Friends,
It’s a bittersweet moment as I write to you for one last time on this blog. The journey we’ve embarked on since 2007 has been nothing short of incredible, and it’s hard to believe it’s time to say goodbye.
After nearly 20 years of sharing insights, tips, and the joys of writing, it’s time for us to close this chapter of LearnHowToWriteANovel.com. We’re turning the page to an exciting new beginning as we transition our cherished content to Novel.Academy. Don’t panic—our blog will remain up and the library searchable, They’ll be here whenever you need a refresher, a bit of encouragement, or some practical advice on all things publishing.
Our focus is turning to developing our other sites—and bringing you fresh content that will continue to support and inspire your writing journey (stay tuned for more details on this).
I’m overwhelmed with gratitude as I think about the community we’ve built here. Your support, your comments, and your dedication to the craft of writing have made this blog a warm and welcoming space for everyone who loves words just as much as I do.
The spirit of our community lives on at Novel.Academy, where you can continue to learn, grow, and connect with other writers. The tools and resources we’ve discussed, including the classes and the ‘My Brilliant Writing Planner’ from MyBookTherapy.com, are still there to support you on your writing path.
A heartfelt thank you goes to each person who has contributed to this blog over the years. Your insights and stories have been a vital part of our success.
Your story matters. It’s something I’m ever more aware of as our world needs people of faith who can share truths in an entertaining way. More—your publishing journey is much more than the book you’re writing. It’s how you live your journey, the way you are changed by it. (as I’ve said..if you haven’t been changed by this publishing journey, you’ve missed the point)
Keep writing, keep sharing your stories, and stay true to the message you want to share with the world.
Thank you for being the best part of this blog. Your enthusiasm and love for storytelling have meant the world to me.
Now, Go! Write something brilliant!
Warmly,
Susie May
