A Note from Founder, Susan May Warren

We’re excited that so many of the MBT Voices have advanced in your writing journey and are now seeking more complex coaching and resources.  It is so exciting is it to see how inspirational fiction is increasingly impacting our world.  More and more inspirational authors are hitting the best-seller list, and every year we see more MBT Voices get published.

At MBT we’re always analyzing craft and story and developing new articles and classes to deepen our novels and bring the best to the publishing market.

As we see the MBT Voices improve their craft and strive to write powerful stories, we also see the need to provide more advanced and complex teaching for those who have progressed.  As you can imagine, there is an increased level of cost with developing these higher level classes, blogs and seminars.  Therefore, in order to continue to be able to serve those of you who have moved to a higher level, and need more than the foundational MBT teaching, we are going to add an advanced level of MBT for a small paid subscription.  This will enable us to maintain the quality tools and teaching at that higher level.

One of the values of MBT is affordability as well as quality, and we’re pleased to be able to  continue to offer the foundational skills of writing for free, including great discussions, daily articles and even some chats and seminars.

Because both levels will be Voices, we’ve named them The Bleachers which is the free, foundational level, and the Team which is the advanced level.

What are those resources at the Team level?  You’ll of course receive everything that is available at the Bleacher level.

In addition, at the Team Member level, we’ll have:

• A private members forum with leaders monitoring our discussion.
• Advanced level Monday night teaching chats, with guest speakers like agents and editors, with the transcripts automatically emailed to all members.
• A monthly writer’s challenge to hone your word-smithing, with prizes and public recognition on the blog, as well as blog publication.
• We’ll have free monthly seminars on all areas of the writing life, from career planning, to time management to writing craft and even industry advice.  These will also be recorded and available to all Team members.
• Included in the membership is a monthly coaching letter from Susan May Warren with specific teaching on how to improve your writing, and become your own book therapist.
• Team members will also have exclusive access to the over 500 articles and blogs on the MBT site.
• Finally, the membership comes with a discount to all MBT products – books, bonus webinars, even retreats.

We’re excited to announce that for those who are interested in checking out this level, we’re going to offer a free preview for the next six weeks until our official launch in December.  The Preview will include samples of all the Team member loot – from the newsletter, a webinar, a chat, and a writing contest.

If you join the MBT Team preview list, you’ll also lock in your discounted Preview MBT Team level price of $14.00 for the life of your membership.   As long as it is a continuous Team membership that has never been cancelled, that $14.00 price will remain fixed.  When we roll out the full membership in December, you’ll be sent an official invitation, and you can secure your membership at that time.  Until then, try it out for free.  (The regular monthly price for Team membership will be $20/month, the price of dinner out.)
