Introducing our 2015 Final Round Frasier Judges!

I’ve been holding onto this secret for a week!  I’m so excited to announce the 2015 Final Round Frasier Judges. . .

Tamela Hancock Murray, agent with Steve Laube Literary Agency!

Ami McConnell, VP, Editor-in-Chief at Howard Books, a division of Simon & Schuster!

Let me introduce them to you.  Bios are below, but let me say that I know both these women personally, and you coudln’t have smarter, kinder, more brilliant judges in this final round.

Tamela has a real heart for beginning novelists.  I know so many published authors who have said that Tamela listened to them, encouraged them and helped them press on until they found a home for their debut novels.  She knows what to look for and how to guide a novelist toward publication.

Rachel and editor Amy McConnellAmi is one of the smartest editors in the industry.  I know her mostly through Rachel Hauck, as Ami was her editor for years. I watched as she helped Rachel grow into the powerful novelist she is today, helping her take her stories deeper, craft her wordsmithing and guide her career.  Ami knows how to craft a great story, and how to bring it out in an author.

In the final round of judging of the Frasier Contest, these two judges will look at the five finalists entries, judging them on marketability, overall impact and reader engagement.  Entering the Frasier Contest is a great way to help them discover the next great voice!
